About the series
This 5-week professional learning series helps educators confidently document meaningful transition planning within the revised Massachusetts IEP. Participants will learn how to integrate transition assessment, student vision, postsecondary goals, transition services, self-determination, and collaborative planning throughout the IEP, creating a connected roadmap that supports successful outcomes for students.
Through case studies, guided documentation practice, and real-world examples, participants will explore how transition planning informs annual goals, accommodations, specialized instruction, related services, and other supports. By the end of the course, educators will leave with ready-to-use templates, exemplars, implementation strategies, and the confidence to create meaningful, legally sound transition plans.
